FBS and Education Africa Drive Positive Changes in Masibambane College
FBS proudly continues our partnership with Education Africa, contributing to improving facilities at Masibambane College in Orange Farm, Johannesburg.
As part of the new initiative, FBS has funded restoration works of the school clock, bringing back an essential symbol of Masibambane College to its original place. With the new clock, students can now easily navigate their daily schedules and manage daily routines, helping them be more punctual and productive.
In the first weeks of March, Education Africa members and Masibambanee students and teachers organized an opening ceremony for the new school clock to celebrate the positive improvements at their school. As a gesture of appreciation for financial support, the authorities named the new clock tower after FBS – it is now “The FBS Clock”.
Oratile, Masibambane College, a Grade 10 learner, emphasized the importance of the FBS Clock, saying, “The FBS Clock has significant value to all of us. I think this is a new start for all of us. It is going to encourage us to come to school early because before, we didn't have a clock to look at on our way to school.”
FBS, together with Education Africa, is dedicated to promoting the ongoing growth and prosperity of Masibambane College. The provided support marks a significant step forward in enhancing the school's infrastructure and bringing hope to the Orange Farm community.
